[Charge calculation method]

Delivery plan fee = basic fee + outside area delivery and collection fee (Ehime Prefecture side) + vehicle compensation (optional)

[Delivery plan basic fee]

*Child seats and child trailers alone cannot be rented.

*Child seats cannot be installed on anything other than other electrically assisted bicycles (Botani P3).

*Child trailers cannot be connected to other companies' rental bicycles.

*Child trailers cannot be connected to E-BIKE/cross bike types.

*Child trailers cannot be driven on sidewalks.

*Children under 2 years old are not permitted in child trailers.

[Delivery and collection fees by area】

If you rent or return a bike at a location other than the Ikuchijima location, the following delivery and collection fees will apply.

*This is the basic fee per delivery/collection.

Example: If you rent in Onomichi and return in Imabari, the delivery and collection fee is:

Delivery fee ① Onomichi: ¥8,000 + Collection fee ⑧ Imabari: ¥12,000 = ¥20,000

*Up to 10 bikes can be loaded at one time. (If more than 10 bikes, the fee for two bikes will be charged.) (Up to 6 electric assist bikes.)

[About vehicle compensation]

If any parts are found to be damaged in a way that would cause trouble compared to the time of rental,

The customer will be billed for the repair fee. Please note.

We offer vehicle compensation that partially compensates for damages up to 30,000 yen at a low cost.

2. Spare battery (for electric assist bicycle use)

Fee: 550 yen (1 day)

3. Child seat (can only be installed on electrically assisted bicycles)

Fee: 1,100 yen (1 day)

*We do not rent child seats alone.

[Standard Delivery and Collection Hours]

Standard delivery and collection hours are 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

If you use the service outside of standard hours, an additional hourly fee of ¥1,650 will be charged.

*The Shimanami Kaido has few streetlights, increasing the risk of falling when driving at night.

We recommend arriving before sunset.

[About Collection Fees by Area]

If you rent or return a bicycle at a location other than the TABITASU store on Ikuchijima Island, a delivery or collection fee will be charged.

[About the Luggage Delivery Service]

◆If delivery or collection is completed in Hiroshima Prefecture, delivery to accommodations in Ehime Prefecture (Kamijima Town, Omishima Island, Hakata Island, Oshima Island, Imabari, Matsuyama) is not possible.

Example: Delivery at Onomichi Station - Accommodation on Hakata Island - Pickup at Onomichi Station = No luggage delivery

Please note that there will be no refunds for discounts even if you do not use the free service.

◆The luggage delivery service is only available to rental bicycle users.

◆Delivery to accommodations without on-site staff, such as rental properties, may not be possible.

With the Tabitasu Rental Bicycle Plan, we will store your luggage for you.

We will carefully deliver and store your luggage, but we cannot be held responsible for any damage.

We also cannot store the following items:

《Height and weight applicable to rental bicycles》Common for cross bikes and Bromptons

Rental bicycles cannot be used by people who are less than 140cm tall or weigh more than 100kg.

*Electric assisted bicycles must be 144cm or taller.

《About renting a Brompton》

The Brompton is a folding bicycle, but folding is prohibited except for the rear wheel.

If you are using it for the first time, we will explain and practice how to use it for about 15 minutes.

《Conditions for renting a Brompton for an overnight stay》

〇 Brompton users or those accompanied by a Brompton user.

〇Those who have participated in the Tabitas tour.

〇Those who have taken the Brompton handling course (how to fold and ride).

*Brompton handling courses are always held at Tabitasu Setoda (advance reservation required). (Tuition fee/1,000 yen per person/approximately 60 minutes)

Delivery rental bicycles can store your luggage for free, but due to various circumstances, we may not be able to store your luggage.

If you are unable to keep your package, please use the paid service of the shipping company below.

Baggage storage and transportation service is a free service for customers using the delivery rental bicycle plan.

Please note that we cannot store or transport baggage belonging to anyone other than the plan user.

《About insurance》

Our accident insurance is only available to people who have Japanese nationality or who have Japanese nationality.

Please be sure to purchase your own insurance.

《About cancellation》

★If you wish to cancel your reservation, please contact us immediately.

If canceled due to customer's convenience, the following cancellation fee will be charged to the rental fee (excluding out-of-area delivery and collection fee).

・3 days before: 20% of the reservation fee

・2 days before: 30% of the reservation fee

・The day before: 50% of the reservation fee

・Same-day cancellation/Unauthorized cancellation: 100% of reservation fee

*If you do not show up one hour after your reservation time without contacting us, your reservation will be automatically canceled.

If it is raining or rain is expected, there will be no cancellation fee, but please be sure to contact us at least 3 hours before the delivery time.

Please note that cancellations after rental are non-refundable.

Precautions when using rental bicycles [Please read]

〇 Japanese nationals and foreign residents of Japan are not eligible for insurance, so please be sure to purchase your own insurance.

〇 Driving while under the influence of alcohol is a violation of the Road Traffic Act and is strictly prohibited.

〇 A driver's license, insurance card, student ID, passport, or other form of identification is required for rental. Please be sure to bring it with you on the day.

〇 Guests under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or someone 18 years of age or older.

〇 Early return of the bicycle will not result in a refund.

〇 You can specify a pick-up and return time within the rental period, but this may be adjusted depending on other guests' schedules.

〇 If you need to pick up your bicycle after 6:00 PM due to personal reasons, an additional fee of ¥1,650 per hour will be charged.

〇 The bicycle may differ from the one shown in the photo, but we will provide a bicycle of the same class.

〇 Please bring your driver's license or other form of identification with you on the day. If you forget, we will refuse to rent to you.

*We will make copies of your identification numbers, etc.

〇 Always wear a helmet.

〇 Ride in single file on the left side of the road.

〇 Repair costs for flat tires, scratches, damage, accidents, etc. are the responsibility of the customer.

〇 If the bicycle is damaged or stolen, or if accessories (locks, lights, etc.) are damaged or lost, you will be charged the actual cost.
