 This rental bicycle is operated and managed by Setouchi Information Center Tabitas.

These terms of use apply to customers (hereinafter referred to as users) when using this rental bicycle.

It stipulates matters that must be observed.

If you use this rental bicycle, you must comply with these terms and conditions.

 

 1. Application for use

Applications can be made using one of the methods below.

Homepage or Jalan Net

*Reservations (including provisional reservations) cannot be made over the phone.

During the lending procedure, please fill out the necessary information on the application form and present it along with something that can prove your identity (driver's license, passport, health insurance card, student ID card, etc.). Please note that we will not make a copy of your ID or keep the number.

Please note that the person applying for use must be 18 years of age or older.

Additionally, if any false information is provided on the application form, we may refuse your application.

If you have made a reservation, please contact us as soon as possible if you wish to change or cancel it. Please note that your reservation may be canceled if the scheduled time has passed.

 

 2. Use of personal information

Personal information obtained by our company in connection with the use of this service will be handled in accordance with the "Personal Information Protection Policy" separately established by our company.

 

3. usage fee

Please refer to the price list on the Setouchi Information Center Tabi Tasu homepage.

 

4. Usage period and rental/return location

The usage period is from 8:00 to 18:00 on the day of rental until 17:00 for 7 days.

*If the item is not returned after 18:00, a late fee will be charged (1,000 yen/hour).

The return time and location are specified by the customer (separate charges apply if outside the area)

If you do not show up 30 minutes after your reservation time, your reservation will be cancelled.

Please be sure to contact us if you will be late.

In addition, if we determine that there is malicious intent, such as if the return time has passed significantly without contacting us, we may take measures such as filing a damage report with the local police station.

 

5. Bicycle breakdown

(Puncture repair)

For bicycle punctures that occur while using the service, a repair fee will be charged depending on the plan.

〇Store rental and return plan Hourly rental fee (1,200 yen per book)

〇Store rental and return plan: Free for 1 day or more use (1,200 yen per book from 2nd time onwards)

〇Delivery plan        Free

*If you request repairs by yourself at a bicycle shop, etc., you will be responsible for all plans.

 

(Other repairs)

Unless the damage is caused by our company, repairs for breakdowns or damage during rental are generally the responsibility of the customer.

If your bicycle breaks down while you are using it, please bring it to the rental location. Bicycle breakdowns caused by the user will be repaired at the user's expense.

Please note that if the bicycle is repaired by the user himself without prior consent from us, we will not be responsible for the repair costs. Our company will not be held responsible for any damage caused to users or other third parties due to bicycle malfunctions, unless the damage is caused by our company.

 

6. Bicycle theft/loss

Customers are responsible for managing the rental bicycle and accessories.

Please be sure to lock your bicycle when parking. The actual cost of theft or loss will be borne by the customer.

If your bicycle is parked in a prohibited area and removed, please return it yourself. Please note that any costs necessary for returning the product will be borne by the customer.

If your bicycle is stolen or lost during your rental period, please contact the company that rented it to you immediately.

7. Accident

Our company will not be responsible for any damage caused to the user due to an accident or theft by a third party during the period of use.

If a user is involved in an accident during the period of use, they will promptly take measures as required by law, such as reporting it to the police station, and will also report the date, time, location, cause, and circumstances of the accident to the information center. please do it.

If it is necessary to negotiate a settlement regarding an accident, please do so at your own risk. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if our company suffers damage, including if we are forced to pay compensation to a third party, we may demand compensation from the user.

 

8. Insurance

We will take out domestic travel insurance.

*Insurance premiums are not included for hourly rentals. (You can join for a separate fee of 500 yen per person)

*Insurance only applies to those who have Japanese nationality or foreigners residing in Japan.

Death and residual disability 5 million yen

Hospitalization insurance daily amount 4,000 yen

Daily outpatient insurance amount: 2,000 yen

Compensation liability (self-pay 0 yen) 30 million yen

Items carried: No compensation

Rescuer expenses 1 million yen

9. Lost or damaged key

If your bicycle key is lost or damaged, a replacement fee of 3,000 yen will be charged.

 

10. Prohibitions

Users should not do the following:

(1) Drinking alcohol, reckless driving, and other acts that violate traffic laws.

(2) Use in dangerous areas or other inappropriate locations

(3) Parking in areas where bicycle parking is prohibited or in areas that may obstruct the passage of pedestrians or bicycles.

(4) Bicycle modification

(5) If you notice an abnormality with the bicycle (such as a flat tire) while driving, continue driving.

(6) Allowing someone other than the applicant to use the service.

 

11. Changes to terms and conditions

Please note that these terms, holidays, business hours, service content, etc. are subject to change without notice.

 

12. Cancellation of use

If the user violates the terms of use, even during the rental period, the use of the bicycle will be canceled and the bicycle must be returned promptly.

In this case, we will not refund any security deposit received by us.

In addition, if our association or a third party suffers damage due to a violation of the Terms of Use, we may demand compensation from the user.

 

Many traffic accidents occur while using rental bicycles.

Please follow the legal rules and drive safely while using the service.
