Rental bicycle terms of use

 

This rental cycle is operated and managed by  Tabitasu.

 

This Terms of Use shall be applied when the customer (hereafter referred to as the user) uses this rental bicycle.

 

We stipulate matters to be observed.

 

If you use this rental cycle, you will be required to comply with this agreement.

 

 

1. Application for use

 

Application for use can be made in any of the following ways.

* Reservations (including provisional reservations) cannot be made over the phone.

 

 

Please fill in the necessary items on the application form and present it with your identification (driver's license, passport, health insurance card, student ID card, etc.) when you apply for the loan. In addition, we will keep a copy or number of your identification card.

 

Please note that the representative of the application for use must be 18 years of age or older.

 

In addition, use may be refused if false information is provided in the application form.

 

For reservations, please contact us as soon as possible for changes or cancellations. Please note that we may cancel your reservation if it is past the scheduled time.

 

 

2. Use of personal information

 

Personal information obtained by the Company in connection with the use of this service shall be handled in accordance with the "Personal Information Protection Policy" separately established by the Company.

 

 

3. usage fee

 

Please refer to the price list on the  Tabitasu website.

 

 

4. Period of Use/Rental/Return Place

 

The period of use is from 8:00 to 17:00 on the day of rental to 7 days (17:00).

 

* If you do not return the bicycle after 17:00, you will be charged a late fee (1,000 yen/hour).

 

Return time place is specified by the customer (additional charge if exceeding the area)

If you do not show up within 30 minutes after your reservation time, your reservation will be cancelled.

 

Please be sure to contact us if you will be late.

 

 

In addition, if we judge that it is malicious, such as when the return time has passed significantly without contact, we may take measures such as submitting a damage report to the local police station.

 

 

6. Bicycle breakdown

 

(Puncture repair)

 

Depending on the plan, a repair fee will be charged for a puncture on the bicycle that occurs during use.

 

〇 Store lending and returning plan　Use for 3 hours　Paid (1,200 yen per bottle)

 

〇 Store lending and returning plan: One day or more free of charge (1,200 yen per bottle from the second time onwards)

 

〇Delivery Plan　　　　　　　　　　　Free

 

*If you request repairs to a bicycle shop, etc., you will be responsible for all plans.

 

 

(Other repairs)

 

In principle, the customer will be responsible for repairs for failures and damages during rental, unless the fault is caused by us.

 

If your bicycle breaks down while you are using it, please bring it back to the rental location. Any damage to the bicycle caused by the user shall be repaired at the user's expense.

 

In addition, we cannot bear the repair fee if the user himself/herself repairs the bicycle without our prior consent. Even if damage to the user or a third party occurs due to a bicycle failure, we will not be responsible for it unless it is caused by our company.

 

 

7. Bicycle theft or loss

 

Customers are responsible for managing the bicycles and accessories that are being rented.

 

Please be sure to lock your bicycle when parking. Theft or loss will be borne by the customer.

 

If the bicycle is parked in a parking-prohibited area and removed, the customer must return the bicycle by themselves. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the product.

 

If the bicycle is stolen or lost during the rental period, please contact the rental company as soon as possible.

8. Accidents

 

We do not take any responsibility for any damages caused to the user due to accidents, theft, etc. caused by a third party during the period of use.

 

If the user has an accident during the period of use, the user will promptly report to the police station, etc. and take legally stipulated measures, and report the date, time, place, cause, and circumstances of the accident to the information center. please do it.

 

 

If it is necessary to settle a settlement regarding an accident, please do so at your own risk. Notwithstanding the preceding paragraph, if the Company incurs damage, including cases in which the Company has compelled to pay damages to a third party, the Company may claim damages from the user.

 

 

9. Insurance

 

I will join domestic travel insurance.

 

*Persons aged 71 and over cannot join.

 

*Insurance is not included for 3 hours use. (You can join for 500 yen per person separately)

Death/residual disability: 5 million yen

 

Daily amount of hospitalization insurance: 4,000 yen

 

Daily outpatient insurance amount: 2,000 yen

 

Compensation liability (copayment 0 yen) 30 million yen

*Guarantee is covered by insurance.

 

 

10. Lost/damaged key

 

If the bicycle key is lost or damaged, a replacement fee of 3,000 yen will be charged.

 

 

11. Prohibitions

 

Users shall not do the following acts.

 

(1) Drinking, reckless driving, and other acts that violate traffic laws

 

(2) Use in dangerous places or other inappropriate places

 

(3) Bicycle parking in areas where bicycle parking is prohibited or in areas that obstruct the passage of pedestrians or bicycles.

 

(4) Bicycle modification

 

(5) Continuing to drive if the bicycle has an abnormality (puncture, etc.) while driving.

 

(6) Allowing a person other than the applicant to use

 

 

12. Changes to Terms, etc.

 

Please note that these terms, holidays, business hours, service contents, etc. are subject to change without notice.

 

 

13. Cancellation of use

 

If the user violates the terms of use, even during the rental period, the use will be canceled and the bicycle will be returned promptly.

 

In this case, we will not refund any security deposit received by us.

 

 

In addition, if the Association or a third party suffers damage due to a violation of the terms of use, the user may be required to compensate for the damage.

 

 

There are many traffic accidents while using rental bicycles.

 

Please follow the legal rules and drive safely.

 

◆Bicycles are light vehicles. As a general rule, please drive in the first row on the left side of the road.
